Jon High says:

Got mind last nigth!

Should you not wait 1 minute per year before drinking it?

BobSurf10000 says:

The difference between this rum is not just 3 years more aging than El Dorado 12 year. There is rum blended from different stills than the 12 year and with the El Dorado brand the age statement defines the youngest rum in the blend not the oldest. The oldest rum in ED 15 is up to 25 years. Simple research would tell you this. I am not a rum expert and have only been tasting since January 2017. Apparently I am a troll though, but only bc it bothers me that you have a whole channel related to rum tasting but seemingly haven’t read a single thing about the topic.

BobSurf10000 says:

Also the glass your using is causing the rum to be harsh

Daniel Smith says:

This is a good episode. I’d suggest trying Foursquare, Appleton 12, or Caroni for future episodes.

The River Pirate says:

That is very surprising that it is stronger in the alcohol taste than the 12 year El Dorado when sipped neat. Well, I guess the good news is the 12 is less pricey than the 15 so you can always fall back to it.
