Van Winkle 12 Year Old Lot B Straight Kentucky Bourbon Review
Author: Whisky Reviews Trenny and C
well done guys – great review!
You guys should see how much Stitzel-Weller Old Fitzgerald is going. If ever you should run into a bottle.
I had the Pappy 12 yo a few months back. I wanted to treat myself, but also wanted to see if it was worth all the hype. I have to say that I really enjoyed it! Very smooth and balanced. No flavor overpowered anything else. One of the best bourbons I’ve ever had.
I will say though….I was in good company, eating terrific food. So the environment may have affected how I tasted and felt about the Pappy at the time.
I found the best thing about Lot B is it’s trade value. I enjoy Rip 10 107 much more and the poor man’s pappy more as well. (have a full bottle of poor man’s pappy cooking as we speak)
Also fucking 1st !!
I have 2 unopened bottles of the 2016 Van Winkle 12 year old ‘Lot B’ in my cabinet. My novice palate is not ready to experience this wonderful elixir.
The greatest marketing shenanigans in the history of whiskey! I wouldn’t mind so much if it wasn’t for the fact that the hyper marketing of Pappy products has caused previously fairly-priced and available whiskies like Weller 12 to be hard to find.
Wow i feel like i can almost taste that Good review
How did you guys find it?
Cheers my friends. Great review
Ah the PVW! A whiskey we’re yet to try. And might never 😛
Good Job, Trenhouse and Chicoree LOL
