Cuca Fresca Cachaca Gold 4 yr
Aged 4 years in Jequitiba wood. 40Abv.
Second Impression May 31 2018, 10:56am

Appearance:Light pale yellow.
Nose: Hearty Tropic pungent(P)…..fades away. Caramel, coconut water(P), green grass, cane sugar fiber, stewed sweet rice, field breeze(P, sugar cane, grilled peppers, wax, palms, Brazilian flower.
Palate: Tropic pungent(P), caramel, saccharin(P), coconut fiber, black licorice(P), floral, incense, necco candy wafer, chalk, hint of butterscotch.

Sweet and creamed coffee: The sweeter elements from the cachaca are lifted up here. Nicely done.

Additional:
Nose: Hearty yet pungent, “green gas”, palms, Brazil flower(of some sort),
Taste:Incense, wax, necco wafer chalk, hint of butterscotch,
Finish:The pungent flavor leaves flavors on its own along with grape after a while.

Does have some good qualities, better than the silver expression. A mixer mostly. Recommended only if wanting to try a Cachaca, but there are probably better ones out there. 78 points of 100.
