Cuca Fresca Cachaca Silver Review

Cuca Fresca Cachaca Silver
Double distilled in wide copper pots, using fresh sugar cane juice, triple distilled.
First impression video May 9 2018. 11:03am

Appearance:Clear. Little bit unfiltered.
Nose: Pungent(P)Sugar cane juice, petrol, coconut water, mown grass, black licorice
Palate: Pungent turns sweet from the nose Coconut water(P), saccharine sweet, wood sap, coconut water, coconut wood. But not Coconut flavor itself.
Finish: Quite easy. “Aguardente” feel

Lemon and Sugar cocktail: doesn’t work.
Screwdriver: Works great, turning the pungency into something heart.
Hot toddy with lemon and agave sugar: Great here! Pungency adds some dimension.
Coffee: works here too, with black licorice

Recommended, though keep in mind that it works for different cocktails, not for caipirinha. 77 points of 100pts

On my notes for Cuca Fresca Gold 4 year, it will be based on a second impression, and then whatever else in development.

Boondocks 8 yr Bourbon is not chill filtered as well.
