Cachaca is a type of Brazilian liquor, tastes a little like if rum and tequila had a baby. I’m thinking that they soaked wood chips in the stuff (or used shredded Cachaca barrels) and worked that into the brewing process.
Sounds like a great quad! Had Wäls’ tropical Christmas saison a while back. Pretty good stuff. Came in the Craft Beer Advent Calendar.
