D’ussé Cognac Review
Welcome to Max’s Cognac Review. I am an avid cognac enthusiast and explorer. There is very little information and opinion on quality cognacs so I felt compelled to share my nose and thoughts. The goal is to help educate and assist others in making the right decisions for their palate and wallets. Please enjoy with a wee dram!

I’ve seen D’usse starting to pop up at my local stores here in Delaware-think I will give it a try this week.
-you mentioned the sweetness; if it is sweeter, maybe my wife would like it, as that is her complaint about cognac.
Nice review. I just started researching this after purchase. However [on a side note], do you mind me asking what type of fur coat is that you’re wearing?
Thanks! Good info and review! from Bacardi uhmm??
I was told the same about Dusse VSOP. They bought eau de vies and used barrels that weren’t no where near top notch. Hence the added burned brown sugar was added to the blend. Seems like way to much more extra. Thanks I’ll approach the XO with much more caution, and look for samples of it first.
I totally agree with your rating , D’USSE is a good start for a beginner or younger party goers
you got some stuff wrong here, it’s not made by bacardi… it’s made by D’Ussé, imported / distribute by bacardi. it does have a history, it’s crafted at Château de Cognac that is one of the oldest cognac houses in France.
