Top Three VSOP Cognacs

Charles Walhingford gives his top three over preforming VSOP cognacs. These three Aged Distilled Spirits form Cognac France exhibit above average, flavor, smoothness and viscosity that make for a perfect drink to be drunk neat and ultimately paired with a Premium handmade Cigar.
Unfortunately big names like Hennessy, Courvoisier, and Remy Martin are not mention at this level.

I finally found a source for some of your cognacs at wine chateau on line with decent prices. I bought the Prunier and paired it with an Eroia first 20 years, it was outstanding. A good cognac at a good price. They had a great variety. Keep up the good work. I also got one of my favorites the Martell Cordon Bleu.

Hehay you made a Vid 😉

Robert Langdon says:

I love cognacs. But unfortunately the ones I love cost a fortune so I generally buy from Duty Free
I don’t even have to travel to buy it though.
I don’t have any friends or relatives living abroad so i use the proxymate app.

proxymate help to find the product I am looking for, then find a willing traveller who would get it for me…

Adon Capcom says:

Great vid. Thanks. My number one is Martell. Amazing flavor.

Charles Harbour says:

I never really mess with cognac. But im going to go off this and try them. I do neet, but I do throw in 1 whiskey stone and a dash of water with my whiskeys or scotches. will water be needed with cognacs?

Cat Naps33 says:

My number one Vsop is De Luze, Martell second then everything else. In XO Martell is number one.

michaelmidwest says:

Why don’t you and Khan do some more vids on cigars, although I enjoy the pairings. I am now trying a lot of new cigars due to the nice weather here. You guys are fun to watch. I did found Prunier on line.

Max's Cognac Review says:

Great video! I have not been able to get ahold of a prunier yet but I look forward to trying one!

Dietmar B says:

Charles, what is Alcohol Burn?
Is it the hot burning sensation at the back of the throat?
Newbie to fine brandy and whiskey for pleasure.
Gave up drinking bulk wines due to health reasons, now just concentrating on a nip or two of fine spirits. More a ritual than anything else.
Tell me if you would, do you “ever” drink and feel like you’ve had too many. (currently, that’s what I’m trying to cease and only as mentioned, for health reasons, lol)
Subbed and liked.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Peter J Puleo says:

Last time I tried it, I liked Hennessy better than Martell, but I will have to try a comparison again. Thank you.

michaelmidwest says:

I am going to pair the Prunier with a La Palina TAA2016 and an Alex Bradley Coyol.

MrRaynosaurus says:
