CS-Ep.48 – This classic cocktail recipe is a favourite of many. We love AMARETTO DISARONNO SOURS because of their wonderful flavours. What’s not to love about a chilled cocktail that’s sweet, sour and nutty!
Bartending notes: You’ll need a simple syrup for use in this recipe. Bring one cup of water and one cup of sugar to a boil on medium heat. Remove from heat and chill liquid completely before use. We also suggest tasting the beverage before serving. We found that adding an extra shot of lemon juice rounded out the flavour profile quite nicely.
Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
3 oz. of DISARONNO – amaretto liqueur
2 oz. of lemon juice
1 oz. of simple syrup
marinated wild cherries
Fill cocktail shaker ¾ full with ice. Add Disaronno, lemon juice and syrup, cover and shake vigorously. Pour cocktail into two glasses filled with fancy or novelty ice cubes. Top up with cocktail and garnish with a cocktail pick complete with orange slice and two cherries. Serve immediately.
