The Gold rush, a cocktail is a Bourbon sour of sorts, but utilizes honey over sugar which does give a different sweet flavor that’s a bit richer in flavor with a longer sweetness that’s not as sharp up front.
Overall, one more cocktail for those bourbon drinkers to try over the typical whiskey sour.

I am not sure you have put enough ice in the shaker…?
QOTD: I’ll go with what Ian said. Beer. Beer is the recipe. (Seriously though, I don’t drink anything else at festivals)

QOTD: Probably either a daiquiri or a margarita would be my go-to “festival” cocktail
You cant make syrup of honey and water, and expect it to last. It will go sour within a days.
