This classic Highland malt, Dalwhinnie ages slowly to develop a remarkable character. Fifteen years of gentle aging make it a smooth and subtle malt. Take your time to discover creamy vanilla, heather honey and just a hint of Highland smoke.

You graduated in 88, and you look older than I do. LOL I graduated in 80. Sorry bro. But thanks for making me feel good whilst enjoying my dram of Dalwhinnie.
I once met a girl named Jeanie
I was reckless with my Dalweenie
There was I burn when I tried to pee
I have to blame it on the STD!
Just found your channel, another one for me to follow after Ralfy & Horst! But guys, it’s pronounced Dal-win-ie! Went there last year, great distillery, great whisky. Paul (KISS fan from UK).
I might just have to pick up a bottle of this. I have seen this a lot, and after watching you guys and others I might just do it. I like your pronunciation of the name as well, for some reason I think you guys should be eating a few Oscar Meyer hot dogs while you drink the Dalweeeenie. ^_^
I hope to see a Japanese single malt. My Japanese malt of choice is the Hakushu 12 at the moment. If you can’t get that, I also hope to see a review of the Bunnahabhain 12yo.
Cheers!
Great review. I enjoy your reviews and banter. Great team chemistry.
i got it twice tasted like spirity light single malt mineral water ha ha–84 is the right score Captains..
“DalWEENIE”?! Double ‘n’ will surely give you DalWINNY! Kthxbai 🙂
Wife just picked up a bottle of Dahwhinnie and Laphroaig quarter cask today. Tomorrow night we will open them up and try them out. Kinda wanted to today but I got a little over eager the night before last and cracked and killed a bottle of Islay Mist 8, still have a touch of the Scotch flu.
Ha ha ha, another good one guys. Sorry I’m few days late. And I do love STD, who wouldn’t? Lol
I had a bottle; the first half I didnt taste peat, the second half I did. Crazy right?
baking and a plaid everyday shirt… BART what is goin on?
Oh yes, I haven’t watch all of your videos, but have you guys ever just let a glass of a single malt sit for 15 minutes or more before drinking. I find all of the single malts I enjoy the most develop over time. I can “milk” a dram for 30 to 40 minutes. I recommend that, especially after you add a bit of water with a whisky with a higher ABV
the front of the shirt could say, i got my STD on you tube. and scotch test dummies across the back.
That’s one of my favorite drams… It gets more tasty and complex after you let it oxidize for a few months… It’s a very nice place to start, or as a second dram of a long flight.
bored games?
I have a bottle of Dalwhinnie in the freezer. I know, I know, hearsay. Well it turns out that it is fantastic. It thickens up and becomes an amazingly refreshing dollop of deliciousness in the warm months. Try it!
