Im still trying to find whether this is a “speyside” type blend. Its very similar to “Old Smuggler” but just way cheaper. (It was mentioned already that “old smuggler” is a “speyside” blend which gets me wondering if its a “speyside” type)

John Saia says:

Aged for 3 years you meant not distilled for 3 years! My goodness, nothing would be left if it was distilled for that long. LOL!

Kenneth Grutter says:

Really enjoy your scotch reviews. I think we have the same tastes! This is a great everyday drink, really surprised how good it is. Thanks for your no nonsense reviews for the common man such as myself. Keep them coming!

Tony Fazioli says:

I have a bottle of Clan MacGregor and had no idea if it was supposed to be good or bad. I was going to listen to your evaluation first before I tried it, but ….. I cheated. I poured a shot and drank half of it during your introduction. My first impression was … Wow! This is good! It is smooth and tastes good! I am surprised and impressed! Now I will return to your evaluation. => Post Script: We are in agreement. You and I both like it. Cheers!

John Saia says:

This is also a good mixer Scotch Whisky, makes a great Rob Roy.

Skylark cs says:

sorry to say and i mean no disrespect but water doesnt bring out the flavor of any liquor, youre just diluting it, same with swirling it as it doesnt do anything for the drink
