General Impressions
Water is a must with this single malt at the elevated ABV of 45.8%. I recommend one teaspoon to each 1.5 oz pour.

Very good whisky at a fair price. Highly recommended!

Shaheen J. Dibai says:

Interesting. I just realized I’ve only had this once, almost a year ago. I had it neat at an open mic and enjoyed it very much neat — but we’ve talked about how a single malt can taste different at a bar, restaurant, or club than it does at home. All that said, Talisker 10 is actually not priced attractively here in Pennsylvania, which is why I haven’t returned to it. I consider ordering it again or buying a bottle and I pass it over, most likely for something from Laphroaig.

foodquig says:

Talisker Ten is like a good old friend to me… That’s even without the water!

astcal says:

good review. good time to review Talisker 10 too 🙂

JasonWhiskyWise says:

Great review Jason as this is a good whisky from Talisker but my favourite is the 18yr and the 57 North, keep up the videos! Slainte!

herrskymarshall says:

I’ll have to come back to mine, been sitting on my shelf for a while, didn’t like it very much but was before I was experimenting with adding water.

Herman 57373 says:

Classy and Delicious as usual Jay. Keep it up brother.

pokeround says:

Lovely urbane review. I think Talisker 10 is a masterpiece of balance. Smoke, sweet iodine and brine, prunes and raisins, all blended together to perfection. To me it falls right between the everyday friendliness of JW black and the sturdy challenge of Laphroaig QC. A little water is a good adjustment (most days…). Cheers!

Corey Martin - Big Poppa says:

Nice review Jason. I love this whisky but neat only . A great whisky on its own

Jimidrammer says:

The 10yo is great, the Distiller’s Edition a gem, and the 18yo very classy. The 175th Anniversary was a good one too as well as the 20 and 25 when they were affordable and available.

Great review Jason. I really like Talisker 10. It’s one of my favorite whisky. I also prefer to add some water. It becomes more delicious for me.

Whisky Impressions says:

Very nice review, subbed. I will probably try this one soon, as I can get it for a good price in a near liquor store.

Wimbledon fc says:

One of my old favourites . I love this whisky and pretty much everything about it. Thanks for taking the time to review this one Jason. My partner got me the Tamnavulin Double Cask NAS, not sure what to make of it. Any chance of a review?

Mhd Kam says:

another good video, I’m living in Sweden and this whisky is must puplur here and it is one of my 10 favorites whiskey…
You are a professional, I think it has a lot of spice…. But spices do whiskey rich

Frank lampard says:

Nice review, Jason. I’ve always had a soft spot for Talisker expressions due to the way they hit the right balance of peat and brine without totally masking the other flavors in a way that I feel the peat monsters like Laphroaig or Ardbeg do.

Triplecap says:

I like this one, but the distillers edition is worth the extra cash and the 18 is sublime.  Nice review J.

The Malted Man Cave says:

Awesome review Jason. I really like the 10, probably the saltiest dram I have had. Just got to try the 18 last week…. it was pretty wonderful 🙂
