Got the reposado today. It ok but it’s no Don julio.
This is the problem with the American market. Most people can’t stand real Tequila (too strong for most people) and need Tequilas already smoothed with manantial water and several distillations. American palates are too use to cocktails. Cabrito is mostly drink by itself, with red meats, Jalisco cuisine and moderation. That is why the popular brands in Mexico are not the same than the most sold in the US
