Good luck with the R. It’s sad to hear that you have some problems with the bike. Hope they can fix it very soon. I have the same bike, almost 8 months, without any issues. And I love the the street triple, really fun to ride with for work and in my free time.
You should only be using the rear brake to stabilise the bike. The front brake is the one that provides all the braking power on a sports bike. I barely touched my rear brake on my old RX.
Need some work on putting together your thoughts but all in all it’s quite a bit more informative and definitely seems like your being honest about the way you feel since you ain’t being paid by a dealership to review their bike.
How would this bike be with dressing…
Like CBR600F or CBR650
I think Triumph need something like this
We’re the same height, but my inseam is just a bit longer. You’re comfortable with the reach of your feet? I was considering the LRH version of the R. It’s a little pricey, so I’m saving.
The engine casings on these bikes need to be torqued to 9nm a couple of times when new! also there is a recall/technical bulletin on the coolant hose T connection (also for 9nm as i recall)
In Houston too, have an RS. Be curious to hear the exhaust. Which dealership did you buy from?
