After picking up my first bottle of Macallan 12 for the holidays, I was intrigued and took to the internet to learn more about single malts. During my research I stumbled upon your site. I took you insight and started my collection. But I don’t know which to try first. What would you suggest?
My Current Collection Includes: Glenmorangie Signet, Arberlour 18, Glendronach 18, Glendronach 15, Yamazaki 12, and The Macallan 18, Macallan Edition #2 and last but not least The Balvenie 12.
I try new scotches every year but haven’t found anything that beats Glendronach 16 Single Cask and Lagavulin 16. They remain at the top of my list year after year.
Thank you Herr Luening for sharing your whisky experiences with us.
Very big fan of the Aberlour 15, great whisky. Have yet to try the others…. I’m sure I will at some point. Thank you Horst, keep up the great work!
Horst we love you and your sons reviews! Greetings from Miami Beach!
The word “available” is pronounced aVailable, not aWailable.
