Sine Metu says:

Thanks for the post. A couple of tips though:
1. Nosing is much easier if you breath through your mouth at the same time. It allows for the aromas to pass through more of your senses and prepares your palate for the subtleties of Irish whiskey.
2. While I appreciate it is you alone that is tasting, being objective about the flavour allows for your audience to have a better, unbiased understanding. If it’s ‘not your thing’ no worries! However, we are here to learn about the flavour profile.
3. If you ever want to get yourself a Galway girl, you’re going to need to go to the west coast of Ireland ;).

lorenz yacoubian says:

Ben, you are doing yourself a disservice by refusing to acknowledge the correct pronunciation of certain English words.
Being obstinate is beneath you and your father, and you will lose viewership if you keep doing so.

Richard Bostan says:

“Whiskey” is not pronounced any differently than “whisky.” So quit saying “whis-kay.”

Tom Jackson says:

First! How about Speyburn 10 Review as the big prize?? 😀
